Two sets of brown eyes scanned the arena, a sigh escaping the larger of the two eyed beings. A hand smoothed over the stallion's soft pelt as Petra adjusted herself in the saddle of the stallion. The two had watched others run before them, their times pretty well.
"Don't worry, you'll do fine," she had been told before mounting up, Ryder's words still clear in her mind as she stroked her gentle hands though her stallion's long, thick, mane. The stud's eyes closed for a moment as he shifted back, his muscles shifting under a clean and shiny pelt.
A buzzer rand then, a rider emerging from the arena then before a voice over the speaker called rider one hundred and ten. "That is us," she said nervously and carefully pushed Whirl forward, the stallion willingly stepping forward. A nicker. Excited now.
